The Broken Arm

It happened.
We knew it would...but we didn't expect it this soon in Dangerriskypant's life.
The doctor suggested that he is "advanced" in many areas. Nothing keeps Jonah Gretzky from making it to the game.

Our Journey to Canada

In March, Jonah and I went on a road trip to Alberta
to visit friends and family
....and our 10 day trip turned into almost 5 weeks
and a visit to Winnipeg.
We made our first stop in Lethbridge
to visit Aunty Lenore and Uncle Charlie.
We had a great visit and Jonah is still talking
about Aunty Lenore's van and her "automakkikly" opening doors. The coulee and Oldman riverSliding at the park
We got a chance to visit Bryan, Kim, Austin and Jessica
in Rolling Hills.
Jonah got to "drive" Bryan's truck. We watched Austin do his first solo flight...
excellent take off and flight....
the landing..not so much. Sorry Austin.
We had a really nice visit.
Then it was off to cousin Sharon's house near Wetaskiwin/Ponoka
to visit her and Brian and Joel and Sianna.
Sianna showed us her horse, Gus.

Riding a horse for the first time. Thanks Sianna!

Sharon...really, you need to get your poor dog a bed.

A pot of Daisy
Daisy, thank you for being so patient and funloving, please pass that on to your friend Smelly as well. Also tell Smelly that we hope her neck feels better and she gets over her fear of dogcatchers with badminton rackets. (she'll know what you mean)

Thanks Beaubiens!! We had a really great time visiting you!

Then it was off to Drumheller, the home of the Royal Tyrrell Dinosaur Museum and some magnificent landscapes...and some bodytalking.

Heading home

We left Winnipeg and drove to Calgary to meet Joe. After having no car for a month, Joe decided to meet us in Calgary and drive the rest of the way home with us. It was great.
We stopped in Banff to see the sights. Driving through Banff National Park
At someone's favorite restaurant, Canada style.
Hoodoos (unique landform, for the landform lover in me)
Home Sweet Home enjoying some morning coffee.
What a journey, I had no idea how much when we started out.
Oh, Canada!
